Why is motherhood considered so special?
I see people saying that the little one made their life purposeful, made them happy and more joyful. They say that the little baby has now become their reason to live inspite of the responsibilities and sleepless nights they endure. I see a change in the way the new parents become, they become more loving in nature with the people around. I see them being content than ever and happier than ever. How is motherhood so special? what is giving them so much power to become a new person and have a new life altogether
Can we bring the essence of this into the rest of our lives? Motherhood feels extraordinary not because society says so, but because of three deep human experiences that come together in one place for the Woman.
1. Creation
The deepest human joy lies in creating something. A baby is the ultimate form of creation, of life itself.
2. Connection
In the early months, a baby doesn’t even realize that they and their mother are two separate beings. For them, the mother is their world, their direction,their safety,
their emotional compass. This makes the bond feel divine.
3. Giving & Sacrifice
We think happiness comes from taking, but real joy comes from giving.Motherhood is the biggest act of giving—time, body, energy, comfort, sleep, identity. This sense of giving creates a deep emotional richness inside a mother.
What If These Feelings Exist Elsewhere Too?
This is where my realization began. If creativity, love, and giving are what make motherhood special, then can we experience the same happiness in other areas of life? Motherhood is sacred, yes. But this pinnacle of happiness that a mother gets and she lives should be really given a lot more attention. Can we have the elements that build it in our life to make it more purposeful.
Can creativity come from our hobbies and work?
Can love come from how we treat ourselves and our peers?
Can giving come from the way we help others?
We can consciously build these experiences into our everyday life. Motherhood is a combination of emotions — and these emotions are accessible in many life paths. Lets try to unlock these super powers irrespective or being a man or a woman.
This article is an oath for yourself to create things, fill yourself with love and be more giving and thence making your life having a purpose.
